What this policy covers

This policy explains how TapIt collects, uses, and protects information when you visit the public website, create an account, configure a service profile, review leads, or interact with billing flows.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, account details, onboarding preferences, service profile details, lead feedback, saved notes, billing details, and support messages. We also collect technical and usage information such as browser type, IP address, device information, page visits, referral information, and interaction events on the website and inside the product.

Analytics and measurement

TapIt records the product events needed to operate and improve the service. The public UI does not load optional Google Analytics or Umami scripts.

How we use information

We use collected information to create and secure accounts, personalize the workspace, deliver product features, process billing and subscription flows, score and explain lead fit, monitor performance, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and improve the product over time.

Payments and billing

If you start a paid plan or complete a checkout flow, payment and subscription processing may be handled by third-party payment providers. TapIt may store plan, billing, and subscription status data needed to manage access, but payment-card handling is performed by the relevant payment provider rather than stored directly by TapIt.

Saved lead content

If you save leads, add notes, or provide feedback inside TapIt, that information is used to support your workspace and improve matching. You are responsible for the content you choose to store.

When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the product, deliver infrastructure, run analytics, process payments, or provide customer support. We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the safety, rights, and integrity of TapIt, our users, or the public.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain security, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Public content may remain accessible until you unpublish or remove it, subject to backups, logs, and reasonable technical delays.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, but no service can guarantee absolute security. You should use strong credentials and avoid storing confidential information in notes or feedback unless it is appropriate for the workspace.

Your choices

You can contact us to ask account, privacy, or support questions, stop using the service, remove published content, or request help with account-related changes. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional privacy rights regarding access, deletion, correction, or objection.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product, infrastructure, analytics setup, payment stack, or legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we may revise the effective date and publish the updated version on this page.
